Triveni Mitra Mandal was established in 1983. The goal of the organization was to nurture Marathi culture in the region, and bring those who shared Marathi culture together. Triveni Mitra Mandal has been celebrating Maharashtrian festivals such as Makar Sankranti, Gudhi Padwa, Ganesh Chaturthi (which is very near and dear to a Marathi person's heart), and Diwali. From time to time we have organized picnics, Kojagiri-Poornima celebrations, and camping trips, etc.
All these activities have succeeded in bringing Marathi families together and fostered everlasting bonds. It has provided the platform for our youth to learn, participate, and perform in various Marathi and Indian cultural activites. It also has provided a stage for Marathi drama, which is another fond hobby of Marathi people.
Triveni Mitra Mandal has succeeded in passing on Marathi heritage, culture and traditions to successive generations and we hope it will continue to do so for many more.
